Terms of Service

This is a starting template intended to reflect how OrderInsider works. Have it reviewed by an attorney before relying on it — it is not legal advice.
1. Overview
OrderInsider is a subscription software service that gives a restaurant a hosted guest page and a QR code linking to it. The page can display the restaurant’s popular dishes, specials, dietary and allergy notes, announcements, and staff introductions. By creating an account or using OrderInsider you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 and authorized to act on behalf of the restaurant you set up.
2. Subscription, free trial & billing
OrderInsider costs $30 per month, per restaurant location, following a 30-day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically begins and renews each month at $30 until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; by subscribing you also agree to Stripe’s terms. We may change pricing with advance notice; changes apply to the next billing period.
3. Cancellation & refunds
You can cancel anytime from your admin dashboard (“Manage subscription”), which opens a secure billing portal. If you cancel during the free trial you won’t be charged. If you cancel after billing begins, your subscription stays active through the end of the current paid month and then your guest page is unpublished; payments already made are non-refundable except where required by law.
4. Your content & accuracy
You are solely responsible for all content you add — menu items, prices, descriptions, dietary and allergy information, announcements, and staff details. OrderInsider displays the information you provide and does not independently verify it. Dietary and allergy notes shown on your page are informational only and are not a substitute for a guest speaking with your staff. OrderInsider is not responsible for any inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date information, or for any allergic reaction, illness, or other harm arising from reliance on your page; guests are advised to confirm with staff. You confirm you have permission to display any staff names, photos, and bios you publish.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t upload unlawful, infringing, or misleading content, impersonate others, or misuse the service. We may suspend or remove accounts, pages, or content that violate these Terms.
6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
OrderInsider is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, OrderInsider and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the three months before the claim. You agree to indemnify OrderInsider against claims arising from your content or your use of the service.
7. Termination
You may stop using OrderInsider and delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or end service for violations of these Terms or non-payment.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
