OrderInsider

Privacy Policy

Last updated June 19, 2026

This is a starting template intended to reflect how OrderInsider works. Have it reviewed by an attorney before relying on it — it is not legal advice.

Information we collect

Account information: the email address (and password) of managers and staff who sign in. Restaurant content: the information you add — restaurant details, menu items, specials, dietary notes, announcements. Staff profiles: names, photos, short bios, and favorites that staff or managers choose to publish. Payment information: handled by Stripe; we do not see or store full card numbers. Technical data: standard server logs and basic usage data.

Guests: scanning a QR code and viewing a restaurant’s page does not require an account, and we don’t ask guests for personal information.

How we use it

To provide and operate the service, publish your guest page, process subscription billing, send account and support communications, and keep the service secure. Staff names, photos, and bios you publish are shown publicly on your guest page by design.

How we share it

We share information only with the service providers that run OrderInsider: Supabase (database and hosting), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email). We do not sell personal information.

Retention & your choices

We keep information for as long as your account is active. You can edit or remove staff profiles and menu content anytime, and you can delete your account and its data from the admin dashboard. To request access to or deletion of your information, email us.

Security & children

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect information, though no system is perfectly secure. OrderInsider is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes & contact

We may update this policy and will revise the date above. Questions or requests? Email hello@theorderinsider.com.
