Delete your OrderInsider account

In the app

1. Open OrderInsider and go to the Account tab.
2. Tap the settings button at the top, then Delete account at the bottom, under Sign out.
3. Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.

By email

If you can’t open the app, email hello@theorderinsider.com from the address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We’ll delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm.

What is deleted

Your email, name, profile photo, friends and invites, the plans you made, your notifications, any Insider profile, and any restaurant role. You leave every table you’re at. Your dish photos and bites are deleted, and your name is removed from your comments.

What is kept

Your picks stay on the boards as anonymous counts, and your comments stay without a name, so neither can be traced back to you. A bite under review or reported is kept up to 30 days before its files are deleted, and anything we’re required by law to keep is kept only as long as required. Deleting some data without deleting your account

You can unpick a dish, delete your comments, photos and bites, and remove friends at any time in the app. For anything else, email us at the address above.
